Fencing is an Olympic sport with a long history as a martial art evolving from competitive swordsmanship to what it is today. However this dose not mean we are behind the times, as modern fencing is a fast paced and cutting edge sport. This session is perfect for people curious about trying fencing and who are looking to stay active in an exciting way. This session is designed to make it as easy to get stuck in so all equipment is provided. All you need: -Water bottle  -Long legged sports trousers e.g. joggers  -Suitable indoor trainers The session structure we will be using starts with a quick warm up and straight into learning the basic moves. Once this is done the rest of the session you will be able to fence one another at your own pace. We have always wanted to build and grow our community at Drizzle and we would love for you to join us for a stroll, natter and an opportunity to make new friends.Once a month, we will host an organised Walk & Talk around Bristol, finishing at Drizzle on Christmas Steps for a well-earned treat. Whether you come on your own or with a friend, it's the perfect opportunity to meet new people, and try new cake. As an added extra, you'll also receive 20% off your order at Drizzle after the walk.

The Lab is our new year-long programme where you'll build a business-ready AI or data science project, with support from leading speakers and mentors. Alongside weekly build sessions, you'll get talks, workshops, and hands-on guidance from 20+ experts working at the forefront of the industry — including an AI Engineer at Deutsche Bank, an AI Governance Researcher from Imperial, an AI Transformation Consultant to Microsoft, and the Editorial Creative Director at the Financial Times. At the end of the programme, you’ll pitch your project to an investor panel for funding. The Lab has been designed for an age where building a product is easy, but knowing what problem to solve is the real differentiator. It's open to students from all backgrounds, because we believe every student should know how to build productively with AI to solve problems in their domain. Beyond building vital skills for the modern era, The Lab gives you fantastic projects to talk about in internship and job interviews.
